How it’s going…

Friendswood is home to a thriving robotics community that includes several high school robotics teams and has also established robotics clubs in elementary schools for younger students to develop their skills and interest in the field of robotics. Our teams participate in various robotics competitions and have a long track record of success at both the regional and state level.

Outreach

Friendswood High School robotics has implemented Outreach programs to engage with the local community and inspire younger students to explore STEM fields. These initiatives involve hosting robotics workshops or summer programs at nearby Elementary schools, where students learn about engineering and problem solving through hands-on activities. Additionally, the team organizes outreach events, such as STEM fairs, to showcase their robotics projects and foster enthusiasm for technology among peers and the broader community.
