FIRST Tech Challenge

Each team consists of many roles, including:

  • Builders – Responsible for construction and maintenance of the robot

  • Programmers – Creators of the code that drives the robot

  • Designers – CAD experts who design the robot in OnShape

  • Business – Document everything and present to the Judges

  • Drivers – Operate the robot during competitions

Depending on the size of the team and the challenge, additional roles might be necessary. Experience is not required to participate in FTC.
